Job summary

Darktrace seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer for Enterprise Accounts to serve as a trusted technical advisor across the customer lifecycle. You will lead discovery, design, demonstrations, and executive-level presentations to align security solutions with business goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a customer-facing engineering role, cybersecurity and cloud security expertise, and proven stakeholder management with C-level audiences. Travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Solutions/Sales Engineering in enterprise tech.
• Experience in cybersecurity, AI, cloud security, networking.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; able to engage C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to Enterprise prospects, customers, and partners.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and executive-level presentations.
• Drive technical strategy and influence deal progression to maximize customer value and business outcomes.
• Scope, lead, and guide POV engagements with clear success criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Support complex and large-scale deployments across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Technical Account Managers to drive customer success.
• Collaborate with channel resellers, strategic partners, and alliance teams to identify opportunities and support growth.
• Deliver technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
• Leverage MEDDPICC methodologies to effectively qualify opportunities.
• Contribute to technical projects and knowledge-sharing beyond day-to-day sales activities.
• Travel as needed to support customers, partners, events, and internal meetings.
