Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to be the trusted technical advisor to Enterprise customers, prospects, sales teams and channel partners. You will combine technical depth, business sense, and consultative selling to drive outcomes and accelerate revenue growth.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, manages complex sales cycles, engages C-level audiences, and helps clients solve critical security challenges using Adaptive AI and cloud security architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions or sales engineering roles.
• Experience engaging C-level and enterprise stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to Enterprise prospects, customers, and strategic partners.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and executive-level presentations.
• Drive technical strategy and influence deal progression to maximize customer value and business outcomes.
• Scope, lead, and guide POV engagements with clear success criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Support complex deployments across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Technical Account Managers to drive customer success.
• Engage channel resellers, strategic partners, and alliance teams to identify opportunities and enable joint growth.
• Deliver technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
• Leverage MEDDPICC methodologies to qualify opportunities.
• Travel as needed to support customers and events.
