Job summary

Walker Lovell is seeking a senior technical sales engineer to lead discovery, architecture, and demonstrations for complex telecoms deployments across APAC. The role is remote from the United States with preference for California or Washington, DC, and involves significant international travel.

You will own the technical sales cycle, shape solutions spanning 4G/5G networks, data analytics, and interoperability while collaborating with sales, product, and delivery teams to drive technical wins.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, network engineering or solution architecture in telecommunications.
• Strong telecoms and networking expertise including 4G/5G Core and IP networking architectures and protocols.
• Exceptional customer-facing capability with ability to deliver presentations, demos and proposals to senior stakeholders.
• Experience operating across complex technical sales cycles with exposure to lawful intercept, intelligence, analytics or government environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution architecture translating customer requirements into scalable, deployable solutions.
• Own the technical sales cycle across solution positioning, demonstrations, POCs and RFP/RFI responses to drive technical wins.
• Present sophisticated architectures and proposals to engineering, operations and executive audiences across customers and partners.
• Shape end-to-end solutions spanning telecom networks, 4G/5G, data collection and analytics with sales, product and delivery teams.
