Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the Acquisition Team to partner with Account Executives and drive net-new business. You will lead the technical sales process from discovery through evaluation, solution design, and business justification, serving as a trusted advisor across network, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will translate complex cybersecurity risks into tangible business outcomes, conduct technical discovery, and design scalable solutions with a focus on fast deployment

Qualifications

• Background in pre-sales/solutions engineering in cybersecurity or SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud and security architectures.
• Experience with SOC tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR) and hybrid environments.
• Ability to design solutions, run demos/PoCs, and influence diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership of deals from discovery to close.
• Align solutions to SOC workflows and MEDDPICC.
• Architect scalable solutions across Darktrace platform components.
• Deliver high-impact demos and translate cybersecurity concepts into clear outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to resolve blockers and accelerate deals.
