Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to drive the sales cycle and mentor associates, while leveraging the HBS team to craft tailored technology solutions for clients. The role emphasizes strategic advisory capabilities and building long-term customer relationships.

The Senior SC will collaborate with engineers and sales colleagues, forecast opportunities, and guide customers toward achieving their business goals with expert product knowledge and consultative

Qualifications

• Six or more years of related Sales Experience (in technology industry)
• Advanced business knowledge and acumen
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Maintain an outcome focused mindset
• Have strong prioritization skills
• Always be a team player
• Carry a professional attitude and respectful demeanor

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or teams and provide mentorship.
• Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications.
• Analyze client needs and manage client satisfaction issues.
• Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
• Maintain customer records using CRM and other tools.
• Visit establishments to evaluate needs and promote sales.
• Prepare sales contracts for orders and submit for processing.
• Forecast new business as it is developed and closed.
• Identify prospective customers using directories and leads.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share selling strategies and info.
• Explain operation and use of technical products to clients via calls/presentations.
