Job summary

AvidXchange is seeking a Solution Consultant to support Direct and Channel Sales. You will bridge technical and strategic gaps, enabling deal velocity and revenue growth through tailored B2B payment and AP automation solutions.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will collaborate with internal teams to align client requirements with product roadmaps, demonstrate capabilities, and drive value for both direct and channel prospects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consultative solution consulting, pre-sales, or technical sales in B2B software/fintech.
• Exceptional consultative selling, discovery, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication translating technical concepts to business value.
• Deep understanding of AP/AR processes, ERP integrations, and payment platforms.
• Willingness to travel 15–20% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and clients to deliver technical guidance and enablement.
• Architect tailored B2B payment and AP automation solutions and articulate value.
• Lead technical discovery, solution scoping, demos, and architecture deep dives.
• Act as feedback loop between field sales and Product/Engineering/Implementation teams.
• Maintain expert knowledge of product portfolio and market trends.
• Overcome technical objections to advance opportunities through the sales funnel.
