Job summary

AvidXchange is seeking a highly skilled Solution Consultant to support Direct and Channel Sales. You will bridge technical and business needs, guiding prospects through architecture, demos, and strategic enablement to accelerate revenue growth.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with Account Executives, partners, and internal teams to scope solutions, conduct technical discovery, and present tailored demonstrations that prove value in B2B payments and AP automation. A travel component is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consultative solution consulting, pre-sales, or tech sales in B2B/payments or fintech.
• Proven consultative selling, discovery, and stakeholder management across execs, finance, and tech.
• Ability to translate complex architectures into business value and outcomes.
• Strong collaboration across Direct and Channel GTM teams and cross-functional partners.
• Travel up to 15–20% domestically as needed for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and clients to deliver technical guidance and enablement to accelerate deals.
• Architect tailored B2B payment and AP automation solutions and articulate value propositions.
• Lead technical discovery, solution scoping, product demos, and architecture deep dives.
• Act as feedback loop between field sales and Product/Engineering for client requirements.
• Maintain expert knowledge of product portfolio, ERP integrations, and competitive offerings.
• Overcome technical objections to advance opportunities through the funnel.
