Job summary

PagerDuty is seeking a highly technical and customer-focused Solutions Consultant to bridge pre-sales and implementation. You will understand customer environments, identify roadblocks, and craft thoughtful solutions that leverage PagerDuty’s products.

You will guide the technical discovery, support responses to security questionnaires, and help customers realize PagerDuty’s value across DevOps and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience in SaaS or technology.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably technical.
• Basic scripting and Linux knowledge.
• Experience selling SaaS in competitive environments.
• Strong communication to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Understanding IT monitoring tools and operations.
• Able to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify roadblocks and provide technical solutions.
• Run technical discovery to understand customer environments.
• Design integrations with the customer tech stack.
• Support sales cycles with technical responses to RFPs/ RFIs.
• Translate complex concepts into business value for execs.

• Collaborate with sales, product, and cross-functional teams.
