PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Consultant II in San Francisco to partner with sales, product, and customer teams.

You will lead POV discovery, run technical workshops, and deliver custom demos that translate complex concepts into business value for DevOps and IT stakeholders. You will articulate differentiators, build technical champions, and drive successful outcomes while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of pre-sales (or post-sales technical) experience.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Intermediate Linux/Windows experience.
• Intro-level experience with cloud infrastructure components (VMs, load balancers, security settings, identity management).
• Strong communication skills for building client relationships.
• Project management skills and quick onboarding on new products and processes.
• Experience selling SaaS solutions.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the POV process end-to-end: identify business case, scope use cases, document deliverables and timelines, and deliver POV presentations.
• Conduct workshop meetings with deep-dive technical discovery, tying solutions to business value.
• Prepare and deliver custom demos tailored to customer pain points with automation engineers.
• Maintain notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input, wins and losses.
• Share best practices and reusable assets with the team.
