PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a technical and customer-focused Solutions Consultant to join our team.

The role sits at the nexus of pre-sales, sales, and customer experience, delivering thoughtful solutions that leverage PagerDuty’s products and guiding customers through technical discovery. You will design integrations, assist with RFPs and security questionnaires, and articulate PagerDuty's value to DevOps and C-level stakeholders while supporting multiple native integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field.
• Ability to do basic scripting (Java, PHP, Ruby, Perl) and a fundamental knowledge of Linux.
• Experience selling SaaS in a competitive environment.
• Strong communication skills to build and manage relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify potential roadblocks and provide thoughtful, technical solutions.
• Run technical discovery processes to understand customer environments.
• Design integrations to provide seamless implementation with the customer's stack.
• Support sales cycles by handling technical questions in RFPs and security questionnaires.
• Explain PagerDuty's value to stakeholders from DevOps to C-level.
