Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales engineering, solutions consulting, or similar roles in fintech/enterprise tech.
• Ability to set architectural framing and narratives for net-new verticals.
• Experience mentoring technical/pre-sales professionals.
• Willingness to travel for in-person partner visits.
• Proficiency translating technical concepts for technical and executive audiences.
• Experience building repeatable scoping playbooks or engagement models.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with senior stakeholders.
• Judgment on when to bring in technical resources to unblock deals.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes across a portfolio of the most complex, strategic partner engagements and frontier ICPs.
• Set solution narratives and architectural framing for net-new verticals.
• Standardize scoping and engagement models so SE work is repeatable and scalable across the team.
• Travel with Sales and Partner Solutions for high-stakes meetings, providing technical authority in-person.
• Lead discovery and solution design for strategic opportunities, prioritizing by revenue, risk, and strategic importance.
• Architect and demonstrate the most complex solutions beyond standard product walk-throughs.
• Help ensure depth and consultative rigor for Solutions Consulting; raise the bar in partner communication.
• Own documentation strategy - create and deploy best-practice materials.
• Drive feedback loops from partners into the Product roadmap and prioritization.
• Align partners, Sales, Partner Solutions, and Product around solution direction on large deals.
• Represent the Engine's technical expertise with senior stakeholders and at conferences.
• Identify expansion and de-risking opportunities across the portfolio.
