Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to consult with clients and partners, shaping strategies, transformational designs, and the architectural vision for secure networking solutions. This remote role supports client managers and sales specialists across Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, HPE Aruba and other ecosystems, with domestic travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience designing and positioning secure networking solutions for enterprise clients.
• Advanced client engagement and consulting experience, including opportunity shaping and technical solution design.
• Experience partnering with Client Managers, Sales Specialists, and vendor/channel partners to expand opportunities.
• Advanced experience in developing, selling, and delivering technical solutions.
• Advanced experience integrating a proposed solution with the client’s broader business domain and industry standards.
• Navigating extended sales cycles involving several decision-makers and multiple product areas.
• 6+ years of presales solutions architecture experience or equivalent client-facing technical experience.
• Ability to travel domestically up to ~20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development of complex solution architectures across business, infrastructure, or functional areas.
• Owns assigned accounts, maintains partner contacts to shape pipeline and coverage.
• Runs discovery conversations and translates findings into a technology roadmap.
• Writes statements of work with cost/effort estimates and scope.
• Reviews proposals to ensure well-defined scope and profitable delivery.
• Evaluates alternative architectures and trade-offs in cost, performance, and scalability.
• Understands client requirements, collects data, and delivers analysis.
• Presents designs to technical and business stakeholders, including proofs-of-concept and demos.
• Coaches less experienced Solutions Architects.
• Leads POC and evaluation engagements to win the deal.
