Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to serve as an advanced subject matter expert, consulting with clients and partners and shaping the architectural vision for transformative solutions.

You will support Client Managers and Sales Specialists to identify secure networking opportunities across Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, and other partner ecosystems, with domestic travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced presales experience designing and positioning secure networking solutions.
• Experience engaging with clients and conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with TOGAF/ITIL/SAFe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development of complex solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas.
• Takes ownership of an assigned book of accounts and shapes pipeline with partner contacts.
• Runs discovery conversations and translates findings into a technology roadmap tied to customer goals.
• Writes statements of work including scope, dates, assumptions, and success criteria.
• Reviews proposals to ensure scope, deliverability, and pricing are realistic and margin-protective.
• Evaluates alternative architectures and trade-offs in cost, performance, and scalability.
• Understands client requirements, delivers analysis, and resolves problems.
• Presents designs to both technical and business stakeholders with proofs of concept and demos.
• Helps develop new go-to-market services and shares insights on relevant verticals.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced Solutions Architects.
• Runs PoC and evaluation engagements to earn the technical win.
