Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide customer engagements and drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will work with Account Executives to shape strategy, coach teams on use case prioritization, and influence stakeholders across the cloud ecosystem.

You will also develop technical collateral, lead workshops, and advance along tracks in specialization, thought leadership, strategic vision, or people management.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex customer interactions within a technical pre-sales context.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and executives by building relationships.
• Proficiency in a core programming language (Python/Java/Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on experience with proofs-of-concept and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives in the territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on prioritization and building champions.
• Influence stakeholders across levels through complex engagements in cloud ecosystems.
• Serve as expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture.
• Create customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
• Grow along tracks in technical specialization, industry leadership, vision, or people management.
