Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers including C-level executives.
• Coding experience in Python, Java or Scala; willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Be a champion for customers and colleagues, acting as an expert solution architect for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
