Job summary

Databricks in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to drive customer engagement and advocate for the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will coach teammates, influence executive stakeholders, and craft technical strategies across complex data analytics engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience with complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/Scala with willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on experience with proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Be a 'champion' for both customers and colleagues, acting as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
