Job summary

Docker is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to lead the newly formed Professional Services Practice. You will work with senior leadership to shape service strategy, deliver reference architectures, and scale offerings for enterprise customers deploying agentic AI and secure supply chains.

You’ll drive cross-functional alignment with product, marketing, and revenue teams, ensuring engagements meet customer value and ARR targets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Professional Services or similar roles at SaaS/infrastructure firms.
• Experience architecting self-hosted and air-gapped deployments.
• Enterprise integration with IdPs (Okta, Azure AD, LDAP) and SSO protocols.
• Working knowledge of MCP and agentic AI toolchains.
• Hands-on AI/ML workflows and secure AI deployment.
• Deep understanding of container security and SBOMs.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the Docker Professional Services Practice across engagements.
• Drive strategic customer outcomes with enterprise customers.
• Enable cross-functional success with product, marketing, and revenue teams.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture engagements spanning enterprise layers.
• Architect and deliver self-hosted deployments in air-gapped environments.
• Design and guide agentic AI toolchains deployments aligned to Docker’s platform.
• Direct delivery or oversight of delivery partners to meet objectives.
• Scope, define SOWs, and oversee service engagements.
