Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience across SDLC, AI engineering, and corporate systems.
• Proven track record architecting large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users and thousands of enterprise customers.
• Broad knowledge across platform domains with ability to make architectural decisions spanning multiple areas.
• Expert-level understanding of API design, service architecture, and system integration at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year technical vision for Docker's Central Operations and Systems group, including internal AI and infrastructure.
• Lead cross-company programs, architect Docker SDLC Golden Path, and drive convergence of fragmented systems.
• Define standardized deployment patterns, security, monitoring, and reliability practices for the platform.
• Mentor Staff/Principal engineers and represent Docker’s architecture externally through talks and blogs.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support critical systems.
