Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to help U.S. War Department cloud initiatives, engaging with customers and system integrators to define architectures, respond to RFPs, and drive successful implementations.

You’ll develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and serve as a security SME for customer apps, working across engineering and sales teams. The role requires US citizenship, Top Secret clearance, and up to 50% travel, with opportunities to influence defense cloud

Qualifications

8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience in software development, cloud computing, or related fields.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

Own the technical engagement and success around implementation projects for War Department.
Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and how apps are built on the AWS platform.
Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications.
