Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive the War Department cloud strategy. You will own the technical engagement, define implementations, and work with customers and SI partners to ensure project success and secure architectures.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop expertise in AWS services, and share best practices across the AWS solution- architect community, while collaborating with top technical minds in the industry.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years design/implementation/consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 8+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and secure architectures for customer apps and services.
