Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to help U.S. War Department customers leverage cloud computing architectures using AWS services (DynamoDB, S3, EC2, CloudFront). You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and become a subject matter expert on security for customer applications.

You will work with the Defense market, collaborate with sales and engineering, and travel up to 50% to customer sites. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Executive speaking and presentation skills for varied audiences.
• Technical development/deployment experience with cloud tech.
• Ability to design architectures using AWS services and security best practices.
• Experience with RFP responses and defense market considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and project success for implementations.
