Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to accelerate the U.S. War Department business within the World Wide Public Sector practice.

You will own technical engagements, define architectures, and guide customers and partners toward successful cloud implementations using AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, EC2 and CloudFront. You will work with a sales and BD team to deliver best-practice guidance, while expanding your knowledge of enterprise architecture and security across

Qualifications

• 8+ years of expertise in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ensure success across specified implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs for customer engagements.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and how applications use the AWS platform.
• Serve as a security SME for customer applications and services.
