Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive defense-focused cloud initiatives with the US Air Force and other Department of War customers. You will own technical engagement, architect AWS-based solutions, and share best practices within the SA community, leveraging GenAI and a broad AWS tech stack.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and 8+ years in related fields, along with strong communication and advisory skills for government

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.
• Lead efforts to educate and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customers to architect secure, scalable cloud solutions for Defense customers.
