Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Solutions Architect to accelerate US Defense Department initiatives, joining the World Wide Public Sector team. You will own engagements, define architectures, and leverage AWS services with customers and SI partners.

You will apply generative AI to solve customer challenges, drive POC delivery, and collaborate with top engineers across AWS. A Top Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.
• Be a subject matter expert on security and other technologies as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
