Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to drive customer success across complex data analytics engagements.

You will build trusted relationships, craft technical architectures, and advocate for the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform in a cloud-first environment. You will develop engagement strategies with Account Executives, coach teams, influence decision-makers, and lead proofs-of-concept across cloud providers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Engage in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Influence decision-makers and executives by building relationships and orchestrating teams.
• Coding experience in Python/Java/Scala and willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate competition.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Act as a trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks' technical community through collateral and workshops.
• Pursue development in tracks such as technical specialization, industry thought leadership, strategic vision, and people management.
