Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead customer engagements, architect data solutions, and drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will collaborate with sales, post-sales, product teams, and partners to deliver architectures and use cases that achieve measurable business outcomes.

You will work on open source technologies like Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow, and travel to meet customers in your territory.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales role or consulting, focusing on big-data solutions.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can help solve their business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• Consult on big data architecture, run proofs of concept, and validate cloud integrations with other services.
