Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to advise customers and prospects in Japan on AI-powered DevSecOps. You will translate technology into business value, support adoption, and expand usage across products and editions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will lead structured discovery, demos, and architecture design, guiding strategic opportunities and ensuring customer success in a remote, global context.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales or solutions architecture.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, security, and cloud technologies.
• Experience using GitLab or similar tools for CI/CD and collaboration.
• Ability to articulate trade-offs and business value to diverse stakeholders.
• Japanese and English working proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured discovery to map customer priorities to business value.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on strategies to close opportunities.
• Lead demos, workshops, PoCs, and architecture validation.
• Design roadmaps for DevSecOps and AI-enabled development.
• Plan migrations of CI/CD pipelines and modern tooling.
• Identify expansion opportunities and post-sale adoption paths.
• Build relationships with developers and business leaders.
• Create reusable proposals, diagrams, and success stories.
