Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer based in the United States to join our team. You will partner with Sales and Channel Partners to understand customer needs, craft value-based demonstrations, and drive enterprise proofs of concept to close deals.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
• Outstanding presenting skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Broad experience in large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• Ability to map customer problems to Snowflake solutions and architectures.
• Travel approximately 30%.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields; Masters in Data Science or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle.
• Support enterprise Proof of Concepts and design/implementation discussions.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and messaging.
