Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to tackle complex customer problems, work with sales teams and channel partners, and drive value-based demonstrations from demo to PoC to design and implementation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.
• Outstanding presenting skills to executive and technical audiences.
• 5+ years building ML and Generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Broad experience in large-scale Database/Data Warehouse, ETL, analytics and cloud (Data Lake/Mesh/Fabric).
• Hands-on SQL, SQL analytics and Python.
• Ability to map customer problems to Snowflake solutions.
• Ability to discover customer architectures and align with Snowflake Data Architecture.
• University degree in CS/Engineering; Masters preferred.
• Experience with GSIs is beneficial but not required.
• Approximately 30% travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
• Demonstrate value through proofs of concept and design/implementation demos.
• Navigate sales cycles with customers and partners to close deals.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and messaging.
