Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a senior Solution Engineer to articulate our data platform to executives and technical teams. You will run demonstrations and proofs of concept, translating business problems into Snowflake solutions during the sales cycle.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, and marketing to continuously evolve Snowflake’s offerings and messaging, while traveling about 30% to meet customers and prospects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience with at least 5 in a pre-sales environment.
• Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences.
• 5+ years building and deploying ML and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Broad experience in large-scale Database/Data Warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud tech.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• University degree in CS/engineering/math; Masters preferred.
• Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture) would be beneficial.
• Expect approximately 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate value throughout the sales cycle.
• Immerse yourself in evolving industry, understanding competitors and positioning Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing.
