Job summary

Snowflake seeks an experienced Senior Solution Engineer to join our pre-sales team, shaping data architecture for enterprise customers. You will work with sales and channel partners to understand data challenges, craft data-driven demonstrations, and drive Proofs of Concept that prove measurable business outcomes.

You will translate complex data problems into Snowflake data solutions, collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmaps, and present ROI to executives during winning

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales/solutions architecture role focused on data platforms.
• Deep hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, and cloud data warehouse / data lakehouse architectures.
• Broad experience across the modern data stack (ETL/ELT tools, streaming platforms, orchestration, BI tools, cloud infra).
• Proven ability to conduct deep data architecture discovery and map to Snowflake reference architecture.
• Experience positioning AI/ML capabilities within a data platform context.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake's Data Cloud vision to data engineering leaders, analytics teams, data scientists, and executives.
• Lead hands-on technical discovery to map a customer's data architecture and design a Snowflake-native path forward.
• Build and deliver tailored demos and proofs of concepts across Snowflake's data platform.
• Guide customers through modern data architecture patterns and governance frameworks.
• Translate business problems into concrete Snowflake data solutions.
