Job summary

KBR’s Defense & Intel team seeks a Senior Solution Architect to drive technical strategy and design for government opportunities. The role emphasizes collaboration with BD, capture, and proposal teams to shape winning, customer-focused solutions.

Active Top Secret clearance is required and travel is minimal. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Government, Defense, and Intelligence communities, with a track record of delivering innovative, compliant proposals while aligning with NSS

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience.
• Experience leading technical solutioning with business development and capture teams in defense/intelligence markets.
• Strong ability to translate customer problems into compelling technical solutions that meet objectives within cost and schedule.
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity, System of Systems, MBSE, DevSecOps, and Cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customer shaping, requirements gathering and proposal support to design and deliver winning proposals.
• Collaborate with BD, Capture and Proposal teams to craft technically sound, customer-aligned solutions.
• Lead development of technical volumes for proposals, ensuring compliance with RFPs.
• Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions that meet mission challenges within budget and schedule constraints.
• Conduct market research, identify discriminators and articulate value propositions.
• Develop system designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans for proposal support.
• Participate in reviews to refine content and align with win themes.
• Research emerging technologies and incorporate them into solution designs.
• Lead and author technical proposals, whitepapers and other collateral; provide RFI responses and BOEs.
