Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to drive technical strategy and solution development for Defense, Intelligence, Civilian Space, and Homeland Security programs. This remote U.S.

role emphasizes MBSE, cyber security, and cloud-based architectures, with opportunities to mentor teams and shape strategic proposals. Applicants should have extensive experience in complex pursuits, RFIs, and BOEs, with a proven track record in business development and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 18+ years in industry, including 12+ years and 6+ years in business development.
• Experience in Defense, Intelligence, Civilian Space, or Homeland Security.
• Experience leading technical solution development for complex proposals.
• Experience writing technical volumes, whitepapers, and BOEs.
• Ability to respond to RFIs and market surveys.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution development for complex pursuits across mission areas.
• Shape customer requirements through early engagement and market research.
• Develop proposal content, white papers, and BOEs; respond to RFIs and surveys.
• Apply Digital Engineering, MBSE, DevSecOps, Agile, Cloud architectures with cybersecurity focus.
• Mentor and build teams; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
