Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to drive technical strategy and design for opportunities in the Defense & Intel sector. You will lead cross-functional teams with BD, Capture, and Proposal to deliver compelling, compliant solutions for government opportunities.

The role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity, MBSE, agile methods, and cloud architectures, with a track record of presenting and writing technical proposals and BOEs. Location is multiple US sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience.
• Strong team building and leadership capabilities to engage internal/external sources for clear solutions across DoD and IC.
• Experience leading technical solutioning in defense/intelligence markets for services and products to US Government customers.
• Proven ability to derive customer solutions based on understanding of problems that meet technical objectives within cost and schedule.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity, System of Systems, Software, Agile Engineering; MBSE, DevSecOps, and Cloud Architectures.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customer shaping efforts, requirements gathering, and proposal support activities.
• Collaborate with BD, Capture, and Proposal teams to craft technically sound solutions that align with customer needs and win strategies.
• Lead development of technical volumes for proposals, including writing, reviewing, and editing content for RFP requirements.
• Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions addressing mission challenges within budget and schedule.
• Conduct market research to identify discriminators and articulate value propositions that differentiate our solutions.
