Job summary

KBR's Defense & Intel team seeks a dynamic Senior Solution Architect to drive technical strategy and solution design for government opportunities. The role requires a strong background in creating innovative, customer-focused solutions and supporting capture, proposals and oral presentations.

Location: Northern Virginia with travel 0-20%. Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is required. Scheduled hours: 40 per week, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of prior experience.
• Experience leading technical solutioning in defense/intelligence markets with DoW/IC focus.
• Ability to translate customer objectives into compliant, winning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customer shaping, requirements gathering and proposal support activities.
• Lead development of technical volumes for proposals and ensure RFP compliance.
• Translate objectives into innovative technical solutions addressing mission challenges.
• Develop artifacts like system designs, roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Lead and write technical proposals, whitepapers and collateral.
