Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to guide technical strategy and solution design for government, defense and intelligence opportunities. The role emphasizes collaboration with BD, capture and proposal teams to create compelling, compliant technical content while aligning with customer requirements and NSS growth strategy.

The position requires active Top Secret clearance, with eligibility for TS/SCI, and can be based in El Segundo, CA with travel across eligible sites.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience.
Experience leading technical solutioning with business development and capture teams in defense and intelligence markets.
Proven ability to translate customer problems into technically objective solutions meeting cost and schedule.
Understanding of Cybersecurity, System of Systems, Software, and Agile Engineering in defense/IC contexts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams to craft compelling, technically sound solutions.
Act as a SME translating solution requirements into proposal artifacts.
Lead development of technical volumes for proposals, ensuring RFP compliance.
Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions addressing mission challenges within budget and schedule constraints.
Conduct market research, identify discriminators, and articulate value propositions.
Develop artifacts such as system designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans to support proposals.
