Zusammenfassung

The AES Corporation is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to drive solar PV and integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) project development across the US and internationally. You will qualify new opportunities, perform due diligence, and respond to RFPs to expand our owner-operated renewable portfolio.

Ideal candidates have deep PV and storage design experience, knowledge of PVSYST/Helioscope and a proven track record with project economics and PPAs. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, design, analysis and construction.
• Proficiency with renewable energy modeling tools such as PVSYST, HOMER, SAM, Helioscope and Plant Predict.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and MS Office with advanced Excel skills.

Aufgaben

• Energy production modeling for projects in development (PVSYST, Helioscope, Plant Predict).
• Battery dispatch modeling for projects in development (Excel, Matlab).
• Site evaluation (remote and in-person) for project suitability.
• Project pricing and value engineering with an Estimator.
