Job summary

DNV Energy Systems' Renewables and Power Grids group seeks a Senior Solar Energy Analyst to join the Solar Energy Assessments team. You will deliver solar resource and energy production assessments across North America, using data-driven methods to inform project decisions.

The role supports the development of bankable energy yield assessments, participates in tool development, and upholds DNV's standards for technical rigor and quality. Preference given to candidates near target markets.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform long-term solar resource and energy production assessments.
• Experience analyzing solar/climatic datasets and building energy yield models.
• Ability to conduct uncertainty analyses and develop bankable assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct long-term solar resource and energy production assessments for various project types.
• Analyze datasets, perform energy modeling and predict energy production.
• Analyze plant performance data, assess resource variability and losses, support bankable yield assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, communicate findings to stakeholders and QA deliverables.
