DNV Energy Systems' Renewables and Power Grids group is seeking a Senior Solar Energy Analyst to join our Solar Energy Assessments team. You will analyze solar resource and energy production for diverse project types across North America, turning data into actionable decisions.

You'll work with a data-driven culture, develop bankable energy yield assessments, and contribute to improving analytical tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar resource assessment and energy production modeling.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to derive actionable insights from datasets.
• Familiarity with energy yield modelling and project finance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct long-term solar resource and energy production assessments for diverse project types.
• Analyze solar/climatic data, perform energy modeling, and assess uncertainties.
• Evaluate plant performance, derive parameters, and support bankable yield assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, communicate findings to stakeholders, and ensure QA/QC.
• Contribute to tool development and process improvements within the team.
