Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solar Technician in McCamey, Texas to supervise and guide a team of up to 10 Field Service Technicians.

You will lead daily planning, safety adherence, and critical maintenance across solar plants, working hands-on with electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and overhauling components, performing LV to MV work, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy or 3+ years with relevant degree in electrical/technical field.
• Experience supervising field technicians and leading daily work plans.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 10 field service technicians, schedule daily activities and oversee safety.
• Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems from MV to 12VDC.
• Review schematics, prepare reports, and ensure documentation compliance.
• Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out, JSA, and Permit to Work procedures.
• Support QA/QC, regional maintenance, and training requirements.
• Travel up to 25% and respond to site emergencies as needed.
