DNV Energy Systems seeks a Senior Solar Energy Analyst to join the Solar Energy Assessments team. You will deliver solar resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale to residential projects across North America, using advanced modeling and data analytics.

You will contribute to method development, QA, and client communication while supporting tool development and process improvements in a fast-paced, data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, atmospheric science, mathematics, environmental science, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum five years of experience performing a similar role in North America.
• Comprehensive understanding of solar resource assessment, production modeling, and PV system operation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct long-term solar resource and energy production assessments for various solar projects across North America.
• Analyze operational production data, evaluate resource variability, and support energy yield assessments for project development and financing.
• Ensure deliverable quality, communicate findings to customers, and contribute to QA and methodological improvements.
