Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to support the Veterans Affairs contract. This full-time remote role requires strong programming skills (C#, Java, Python) and extensive QA experience across web apps, APIs, and IT systems. You will develop test plans, write test cases, and lead testing efforts to ensure defect-free delivery.

U.S. Citizenship is required and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance is preferred.

Competenze

Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
Proven track record on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
Experience in both manual and automated testing.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC understanding.
Proficiency in writing/executing test cases, scripts, and plans.

Mansioni

Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure information systems meet standards and end-user requirements.
Develop test schedules, approaches, and strategies.
Write test cases/scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and Leads.
Perform and lead tests to ensure proper operation and defect-free software.
Document and communicate test results; support analysis of results and issue resolution.
Create daily test metrics and reports.
Contribute to special programs and projects.
