Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer for a remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. Candidates must have strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python and a proven track record in both manual and automated testing within Agile environments.

This 100% U.S.-based remote position requires 10+ years in software testing, security clearance (Public Trust - MBI), and experience with CI/CD, test automation, and test management tools.

Formación

• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• 10+ years of software testing/QA experience.
• Experience across multiple testing types and environments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC understanding.
• Ability to design and execute test plans and automated scripts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and test management tools.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL validation.
• Security testing practices and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure product quality.
• Create test schedules, approaches, and documentation of results.
• Write test scripts and data for scenarios; conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Lead tests of software/IT systems and verify defect resolution.
• Maintain daily test metrics and reports; support continuous improvement.
