Job summary
SimVentions, Inc. seeks a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for on-site work at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.
You will perform software systems engineering across acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs, requiring an ACTIVE Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing software requirements, coordinating with vendors on integration, supporting system reviews, and contributing to agile processes and ECP/documents.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Ten years of software/systems engineering experience.
- Experience with military avionics systems and/or software.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements.
- Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
- Conduct analysis of software defects.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, etc.).
- Support the ECP process and related documentation.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
- Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and CD领域RLs.
- Develop IGCEs and support contractor proposal evaluations.
