SimVentions, Inc is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for on-site work at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD. You will perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs, with a focus on integration, requirements, and testing.

The role requires an active Secret clearance (Top Secret possible post-start) and US citizenship. Travel and security investigations may apply as part of eligibility.

Qualifications

• Ten years+ experience in software and systems engineering activities.
• Experience with military aircraft avionics systems and/or software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review vendor software specs and assess integration risk.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration; analyze defects.
• Support cybersecurity SMEs and SE Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs; develop IGCEs; assist evaluations.
