Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for the acquisition, development and sustainment of various aviation programs. This on-site role requires full-time presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD and an active clearance.

The role involves coordinating with vendors on software integration, participating in SE reviews, and supporting ECP and IGCE processes while leveraging Agile/SAFe practices.

Qualifications

• Must have ten years or more in software and systems engineering.
• Experience with military aircraft avionics systems and/or software is required.
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Analyze software defects and support cybersecurity collaboration.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes and SOW/CDRL reviews.
