Job summary

Werfen in Bedford, MA, seeks a Principal Software Program Manager for Acute Care Software. You will lead large-scale, cross-functional software programs from concept to commercial release, align strategies with product roadmaps, and drive regulatory-compliant delivery.

You will mentor program managers, manage budgets, and partner with executives to optimize investments. Strong PM leadership and healthcare domain experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM field; MS/MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience with 7+ years in technical leadership, project coordination, or project management.
• Experience in development and release of at least one medical instrumentation product is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional software programs from concept through commercial release and lifecycle support.
• Develop and execute program strategies that align with corporate objectives, product roadmaps, and customer needs.
• Drive portfolio planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple concurrent software programs.
• Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Software Program Managers and Project Managers.
• Ensure software development activities meet quality, security, regulatory, and business requirements.
