Job summary

BD is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in scoping, planning, and delivering complex medical device software/hardware projects. The role focuses on controlling scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring regulatory and design controls compliance.

You will maintain integrated project plans, drive weekly status meetings, manage resources, and deliver executive-level reports. A strong background in electronics development and PMO experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (business, engineering, or related analytical field)
• Minimum of 10 years of project management
• Proven track record of bringing integrated software/hardware products from development to launch
• Experience engaging and managing third-party suppliers
• Experience with development of electronic products using best practices/tools
• Ability to discern priorities and manage multiple workstreams
• Quick learner with aptitude for technical subjects

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain integrated project plan(s), RAID logs, and contracts with direction from stakeholders
• Maintain all work plans and burn rate within MS Project
• Forecast resource requirements and align staffing with project needs
• Create and present management reports on schedule, budget, and deliverables
• Collect and elevate project issues and risks for senior leadership awareness
• Create and maintain collaboration environments using MS SharePoint/Teams
• Maintain documentation for compliance traceability
• Facilitate weekly project meetings to review status and risks
• Think strategically about product development execution and risk mitigation
