Job summary

Werfen, a global leader in specialized diagnostics, seeks a Project Manager to direct one or more product development projects in Bedford, MA. You will lead technical engineers, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure on-time delivery of complex medical instruments.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM preferred
• Minimum 5 years in product development or project management
• Experience in design and development of medical instrumentation desirable
• Certification in project management is desired

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and team leadership to project teams and drive cross-functional integration.
• Plan, schedule, and forecast schedules and budgets for projects.
• Lead regular project reviews and ensure deliverables are documented and completed.
• Coordinate with Scrum Masters on Sprint forecasts (if applicable).
• Identify root causes of issues and develop mitigation and resolution plans.
• Identify and manage technical and management risks with mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation in Design Control.
• Develop and implement a project communication plan.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside service suppliers to meet project plans.
• Collaborate across departments to support market changes and new product introductions.
• Resolve conflicts and foster a productive team environment.
