Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Development Associate to build and advance a pipeline of high‑quality vertical‑market software investment opportunities. You will identify and assess prospective investments, cultivate trusted relationships with founders, and work with senior leadership to progress opportunities through evaluation, offers, and closing.

This highly autonomous role requires sourcing instincts, sound investment judgment, and energy.

Qualifications

5+ years of corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or related experience.
Demonstrated success sourcing and advancing acquisition opportunities.
Experience engaging with founders, owners, and senior executives.
Experience with vertical‑market software or ability to understand software markets.
A clear point of view on applying AI to research, sourcing, prioritization, and workflow.

Responsibilities

Build and advance a pipeline of vertical‑market software investments.
Identify and assess prospective investments and build relationships with founders and senior executives.
Work with the M&A execution team through evaluation, offers, and closing.
Raise team capability and improve sourcing, prioritization, and investment judgment.
Leverage AI tools to improve market mapping and workflow efficiency.
